On May 27 2010 ATP Real Estate won a total of four silver awards in the following categories:
- Best Portfolio Construction
- Best Opportunistic Investment
- Best Value Added Investment
- Best Private Equity
The prizes were awarded at the IPE Real Estate Forum & Awards 2010 in Amsterdam by the internationally acknowledged magazine Investment & Pensions Europe – IPE.
The prize for ‘Best Portfolio Construction’ was based on ATP Real Estate’s investments in low leveraged funds, detailed assessment of benefits from existing and new core funds and portfolio structure to ensure low correlation with equities.
The prize for ‘Best Opportunistic Investment’ was based on ATP Real Estate’s opportunistic element to achieve higher returns, good use of opportunistic strategy to diversify across all style portfolios as well as frequent and detailed communication with fund managers.
The prize for ‘Best Value Added Investment’ was given to ATP Real Estate for its clear long-term strategy, good use of open-ended funds to gain market exposure and its commitment to core funds to provide strong income stream.
The prize for ‘Best Private Equity’ was given to ATP Real Estate because they allow clear separation of risk for asset allocation purposes, enable fund staff to focus and specialize in area and provide stronger hedge against inflation.
For the second year in a row the German ‘Ärzteversorgung Westfalen-Lippe’ was crowned Best European Institutional investor.
