In October 2010 ATP Real Estate Partners I K/S signed a commitment of USD 50 million to The Townsend Consortium Fund L.P.

The sole purpose of the fund is to invest into the Brookfield Asset Management sponsored Real Estate Turnaround Program.

The Turnaround Program is an opportunistic real estate investment program targeting investments mainly in the United States. The fund will potentially be active in most property sectors including investments in office, residential and retail.

This is ATP Real Estate's first investment with Brookfield Asset Management.
